This week-long intensive, interactive annual summer short course program on nonlinear optical and multi-photon phenomena is designed to engage participants in nuts-and-bolts discussions on issues related to measurements and analysis. This year’s focus subject will target rational design strategies for optimizing nonlinear optical building blocks for emerging applications, including new electro-optic materials, fast switching, and nonlinear optical imaging. The motivation for this program stems from the desire to foster the dissemination of enabling theoretical and experimental tools at the graduate and post-doctoral level. The program is designed to target participants with approximately 1-2 years of hands-on experience in nonlinear optics.

Participation will be capped at 30, decided largely by the date on which the application/registration is received. Applications received before May 15th will be given top priority. Registration for the complete 5-day program is $95.
